Playwright Josefina Lopez Set for THE STATE OF CREATIVITY, Airing 3/24

Josefina López, the award-winning playwright and co-screenwriter of Real Women Have Curves and a community leader in the city of Boyle Heights will be appearing in The Otis Report on the Creative Economy KCET Link Artbound's The State of Creativity, a broadcast special premiering in Southern California on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. PT on KCET and nationally on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. PT/ET on Link TV (DirecTV 375 and DISH Network 9410). An encore presentation will air on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. PT on KCET and on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. PT/ 4:00 p.m. ET on Link TV.
Josefina López appears in the segment of the film entitled Creative Placemaking, which features actors from CASA 0101 Theater located in Boyle Heights, CA, where she serves as the Founding Artistic Director. Footage also includes cast members from CASA 0101 Theater's World Premiere 2014 production of Piñata Dreams written by Josefina López and directed by Corky Dominguez, as well as footage from the theater's 2015 World Premiere production of Clean Start, co-written by Josefina López and Kathy Fischer, who also directed the play.
