Photo Flash: First Look at Contempo Productions' SCARLET PIMPERNEL Remount
Back by popular demand, Contempo Productions brings Katharine McDonough's intimate re-staging of THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL to the Chromolume Theatre in West LA for two weekends only. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below, plus highlights!
Originating at the Hollywood Fringe Festival, the production received rave reviews and a nomination for the Fringe Extension Award. Starring Nick Tubbs (SPAMALOT- 3DTheatricals, FOREVER PLAID- ICT, LES MISERABLES- Musical Theatre West), Catriona Fray (MAMMA MIA! - Hollywood Bowl), and Marc Ginsburg (OLIVER! National Tour, FIRST DATE- McCoy/Rigby), the cast has been whittled down to 11 members, with three onstage musicians.
The cast also includes Gabriella Beltrano, Patrick Cheek, Cole Cuomo, Elizabeth Eden, Tanner Haynes, Katie Lavelle, David Leppert, and Carolyn Lupin. Music Direction by Ryan Whyman.
Performances run September 29- October 8 at the Chromolume Theatre in West LA. Tickets can be purchased at www.contempoproductionsla.org.
