Ophelia's Jump Presents VENUS IN FUR By David Ives
Ophelia's Jump Productions kicks off its 7th season with Venus in Fur, David Ives's tantalizing and sultry serio-comedy performed at the Ophelia's Jump Studio, located at 2009 Porterfield Way, Suite H, in Upland, from February 1 through February 23, 2019.
Directed by Ophelia's Jump Founding Artistic Director Beatrice Casagran, Venus in Fur is a funny, suspenseful, titillating romp through gender power dynamics. On February 14th, a special Valentine's Day performance includes choice of gourmet dessert, a drink and other love themed
Ophelia's Jump is a non-profit Performing Arts Theatre producing plays, staged readings, the Midsummer Shakespeare Festival in Claremont, and hosting youth & adult improv & acting classes. Ophelia's Jump Productions was founded by artists and educators who believe that the purpose of theatre is to create unending conversations, spark imagination, incite conscience, and elicit a visceral response. Ophelia's Jump aims to invigorate the creativity and intellect of the community by working with local emerging artists.
