One More Productions Presents HOLIDAY GEM 11/26-12/12

By:

Celebrate the season with One More Productions - one of Southern California's leading musical theater companies - as they present a new family tradition: The Holiday GEM, a musical revue filled with traditional holiday favorites that runs November 26 - December 12 at the GEM THEATER in Garden Grove.

The Holiday GEM is directed by One More Productions' Artistic Director Damien Lorton, and features a live on-stage band and a high-caliber cast filled with familiar faces from previous shows presented by One More Productions.

"Act one opens with a big splashy musical number that takes place on an amazing set that looks like a whimsical house that every child wishes they grew up in. It was designed by Wally Huntoon, who did the set for Fullerton Civic Light Opera's production of Jayne Eyre," explains Lorton. "Act two features more traditional music, with women in ball gowns and men in tuxes, and ends with a big show-stopping number. It's a really lovely show."

The Holiday GEM features an appearance by Santa Claus and his elves, as well as many familiar and new holiday tunes.

"This is a Christmas show you won't see anywhere else - it's fun, silly, and light with good musical theater elements," says Lorton. "The Holiday GEM is a perfect show for families, and really sets the tone and mood for the season. We hope this will become a holiday tradition for years to come."
