Michael Mullen's HUNGRY BITCH Set For Hollywood Fringe FestivalWriter/performer Michael Mullen is set to bring the world premiere of his solo show Hungry Bitch to the Hollywood Fringe Festival, iIT was announced today by producer Andrew Carlberg. Directed by Jim Fall, it will run for five performances only at the Hobgoblin Playhouse beginning June 5 at 9:30pm.

Performance dates and times are as follows - Tuesday 6/5 at 9:30pm; Thursday 6/7 at 7pm; Saturday 6/16 at 3pm; Monday 6/18 at 9pm; Saturday 6/23 at 1pm.

Michael Mullen is hungry for many things: food, love, acceptance ... food. You name it, he wants it. Come enjoy his funny and quirky adventures between the exciting blocks of Vine and La Brea. Mmmkay!

Michael Mullen is an actor, writer, and multi-award-winning costume designer. He has performed in and designed costumes for several productions on stage and screen throughout LA. Stage credits as an actor include The Legend of Georgia McBride, I'm Just Wild About Harry, Sylvia, Porcelain, On Tidy Endings, Pageant, Wait Until Dark, and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Other acting and writing work can be seen on YouTube: A Song for Jenny, I Feel Like A Woman, Fruit and Fly, Acting School Academy, and Stallions De Amor. Costume design credits include The Boy from Oz, Dreamgirls, Siamese Sex Show, When Jazz Had the Blues, Burners, Fugue, Sweeney Todd, and American Idiot.

Jim Fall's feature film directing career began with the independent feature Trick, followed by Disney's The Lizzie McGuire Movie. Television directing credits include SoNoTORIous, and Grosse Pointe. He also directed the A&E movie Wedding Wars, and co-wrote and directed Holiday Engagement, Holly's Holiday, and Kristin's Christmas Past for Lifetime. Stage directing credits include Damaged Furniture, Primal Scream - The Musical, Miserable with an Ocean View, Falling for Make Believe, The Interlopers, David Dean Bottrell Makes Love: A One Man Show, Small Parts, Miss Coco Peru's Universe, and Miss Coco Peru's Glorious Wounds ... She's Damaged.

The Hollywood Fringe Festival is an annual, open-access, community-derived event celebrating freedom of expression and collaboration in the performing arts community. Each June during the Hollywood Fringe, the arts infiltrate the Hollywood neighborhood: fully equipped theaters, parks, clubs, churches, restaurants and other unexpected places host hundreds of productions by local, national, and international arts companies and independent performers.
