For it's second-season closer, and a total of over 70 different shows, Life Is A Cabaret's Summer Series presented by Les Michaels brings in Dennis McNeil on Sunday, November 20th to reprise his hit show, "Me and My Big Mouth." McNeil, who is used to performing for larger scale audiences, created this show especially for cabaret clubs and smaller theatre venues like The Arthur Newman. "I have sung everywhere from a rock in the middle of Hells Canyon on the Snake River to the Met," says McNeil. In fact, Dennis has actually sung for 5 United States Presidents and a whole slew of Supreme Court Justices, Secretaries of State, and other heads of state and World Leaders. He has sung leading Musical Theatre roles including Nikos opposite the legendary John Raitt's Zorba; has toured with lyricist, Sammy Cahn in his smash hit musical, "Words and Music"; and performed many times with Composer, Lalo Schifrin.

McNeil's new show is a journey of sorts with fun anecdotes about his singing career and the people he has met along the way. He has fond memories of his time with Sammy Cahn and weaves the stories within a medley of Cahn hits. "I have been a fly on some very interesting walls," claims McNeil, and his stories and songs help make that point. Known for his versatility as a performer, McNeil has performed with such artists as Michael Feinstein, Steve Miller, Bruce Hornsby, Lionel Ritchie, and even The Grateful Dead. That versatility flows throughout the show with songs like Hal David's "A House is Not a Home," Kenny Loggins' "House at Pooh Corner," and special arrangements of "This Is The Moment", "When You Wish Upon A Star", and many others.

"Me and My Big Mouth" an evening with Dennis McNeil takes place on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at The Arthur Newman Theatre at 2 PM with local pianist Joel Baker as his musical director. The box office opens at 1 PM with tickets at $10 cash only and reservations available by calling 760-325-2731.
