La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts announces its annual month of extraordinary performances! Once again, it's MARCH MADNESS in La Mirada - and 2011 may be the very best line-up ever - featuring everything from Joan Rivers to Roy Clark; Frankie Avalon to The Music of Abba, there is absolutely something for everyone in a month full of sensational musical events and theatrical wonder!

ROY CLARK
March 4 - 8pm

Roy Clark, best known for hosting the first nationally televised country variety show, "Hee-Haw", is an iconic figure in country music having produced a string of hit records spanning three decades and influencing future generations with his instrumental skill. After being inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2009 and being voted Entertainer of the Year by the Academy of Country Music, the legendary guitar and banjo virtuoso, Roy Clark is still wowing audiences worldwide with his hits "Yesterday When I was Young" and "Thank God and Greyhound."

LASER SPECTACULAR!
Featuring the music of PINK FLOYD

In its 23rd year of successful touring, the two-hour Laser Spectacular show features Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon with the second half featuring The Best of Pink Floyd (including "The Wall") in 3-D! Laser Spectacular has all the excitement of a live concert---multi-screen video projections and state-of-the-art laser technology--and all choreographed to the greatest band of all time. This show has been enjoyed by audiences worldwide!

An entertainment icon of unparalleled accomplishment and talent, Joan Rivers is an internationally renowned comedienne, Emmy-winning television talk show host, Tony-nominated actress, best-selling author and much more. Her highly anticipated and critically received documentary about her life and career, Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work, recently premiered in movie theaters nationwide and her new show "Fashion Police" just began airing on the E! Channel in January, 2011. Now, legendary comedienne Joan Rivers brings her own brand of irreverent, unconventional comedy to La Mirada Theatre in her newest and most outrageous stand-up act yet!

A festive celebration of all things Irish! Celtic Spring, described by some as the "Gaelic Von Trapp Family," made their debut on "America's Got Talent" and dazzled the world with their unique act of traditional Irish step and fiddle playing. Combine that with award-winning soprano Margaret Keys and Irish-American comic Kelly McDonald and you have a winning combination of tradition, comedy, and, with a little bit of luck, one unforgettable night!

Frankie Avalon IN CONCERT!

Take a stroll down memory lane with one of the most unforgettable entertainers of the ‘50s and ‘60s. From trumpet virtuoso child prodigy to teen idol to one of the busiest nightclub performers in the country, Frankie Avalon's prolific career spans three generations of music, 30 motion pictures and countless television appearances. In 1959 alone, Avalon garnered six Top 40 hits, including "Venus," "Why," and "Bobby Sox to Stockings." His starring roles in the highly successful "Beach Party" series during the ‘60s made Avalon an iconic figure of American films. Now, the legendary Frankie Avalon comes to La Mirada Theatre to perform his chart-topping smash hits in a special one-night-only concert event!
