LOVERS, HATERS & OTHERS Presented As A Fundraiser For The Found Theatre of Long Beach

By:

The Found Theatre of Long Beach is proud to present a special theatrical event. Kim and Scott McClelland, founders and operators of the famous Roadhouse Theatre in Erie, Pennsylvania, for more than 20 years, have graciously offered to perform their signature piece, "Lovers, Haters & Others" as a benefit for the Found. The show consists of scenes and monologues from 12 different plays, ranging from Shakespeare's "Richard III" to Tennessee Williams' "A Streetcar Named Desire" and "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," to Harold Pinter's "Betrayal" and Edward Albee's "Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf?"

All of the plays were performed in their entirety at the Roadhouse Theatre. Recently relocated to Long Beach, the McClelland's are seasoned actors who played the leads in the majority of plays offered up in this piece. A few pieces contain adult language.

"We're really pleased to be able to introduce Scott and Kim to the Long Beach theatre community," said Found Theatre executive director Virginia DeMoss. "And we really appreciate their generosity in offering up this unique production as a fundraiser for the Found."

"Lovers, Haters & Others" will run Saturday, June 17 at 8 pm and Sunday, June 18 at 2:30 pm. Tickets are $15 with all proceeds benefiting The Found Theatre, which is located at 599 Long Beach Blvd., Long Beach, CA 90802.
