Kristin Chenoweth Travels to Disney Concert Hall on New Year's Eve
In a recent interview with the LA Times, stage and screen favorite Kristin Chenoweth chatted about her upcoming New Year's Eve performances at Walt Disney Concert Hall. The PROMISES, PROMISES star hopped at plane on Wednesday night after her Broadway matinee to begin rehearsals for the LA appearance.
Chenoweth will give two concerts before traveling back to New York on Saturday to finish of the Broadway run of PROMISES, PROMISES. On the stress involved with her marathon week, Chenoweth said, " "I'm tired even thinking about it. But it's a good kind of tired. When you're a singer, New Year's Eve is always a work night. I can't remember the last time I've had that day off, and I'm so used to it. I'm single so it's great - I don't have to think about what to do."
On new songs to be featured in the show she added, "They lay in the country-pop area. They're moving away from the persona I have of being this happy person all the time. They'll show a more serious side, dealing with relationships and men."
