John Stark Productions presents Tom. Dick and Harry Meet Mary, a visiting guest production at the Odyssey Theatre opening tonight, December 7, 2012, for a limited engagement.

TOM, DICK AND HARRY MEET MARY– A wild comedy about a nun, Mary who becomes a Born Again Christian after a failed attempt at internet dating. Produced, directed and written by John Stark, the cast includes John DeYoung, Tom Groenwald, Donna Luisa Guinan, J. Laurence Landis and Alex Wells

TOM GROENWALD (Tom) was last seen as Cassius in the New American Theatre’s production of Julius Ceasar. He also appeared as Horatio in Taming of The Shrew at the Odyssey Theatre. Tom has many television and film credits including “Art House” with Gretchen Gerwig, and “No God No Master” with David Straithian, which was part of the recent Milawakee Film Festival.

DONNA LUISA GUINAN (Mary) most recent appearance at the Odyssey Theatre was in Night Song forThe Boatman by Jovanka Bach, produced and directed by John Stark. After a successful run at the Odyssey, it had an equally successful positive response off-Broadway at the Burrow Group Theatre in New York. Donna was also featured as the leading lady in Mercy Warren’s Tea by Jovanka Bach at the Odyssey.

J. LAURENCE LANDIS (Harry) is a accomplished writer and actor. He appeared at the Odyssey in John Stark’s productions of The Great Election and Nightsong for The Boatman by Jovanka Bach. His other acting credits include The Music Man and Christmas Carol. He has played multiple roles in “It’s a Wonderful Life,” which was a radio broadcast.

ALEX WELLS (Dick) has been featured in a number of John Stark’s productions at the Odyssey, including The Balkan Trilogy by Jovanka Bach, and Nightsong for The Boatman. Other major credit include Ionesco’s Exit the King, at the Classical Theatre Lab, Roadkill Confidential at the Son of Semele Ensemble, and Double Falsehood, by William Shakespeare and John Fletcher.

John Stark (Writer. Producer, Director) is a writer, actor, director and producer with over forty major productions to his credit including his one-man-show An Evening With Stephen Leacock, which was recorded by RCA at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa, and latter aired on major television networks. His most recent credit is as producer of the award winning feature film “Chekhov and Maria” currently airing on PBS television, Russian TV and Super Channel Canada. The film was a memorial tribute to his wife Jovanka Bach, who wrote the stage play that Stark successfully directed off-Broadway. Jovanka passed away in 2006 after a lengthy ordeal with cancer.

Tom, Dick and Harry Meet Mary opens tonight, December 7 at 8:00 P.M. Regular performances are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 P.M. and Sundays at 7:00 P.M. through Sunday, December 23, 2012.
