The event takes place in the intimate Impro Studio in the heart of Los Feliz Village from July 6-7, 2018. Pledge Drive UnScripted features dozens of performers, and proceeds benefit Impro Theatre's operations which include the celebrated Impro Theatre School and the flourishing Impro Studio.

Pledge Drive UnScripted centers around 30 non-stop hours of improvised shows, performed live in the Impro Studio and broadcast live on Facebook. About Impro Theatre

Impro Theatre has garnered national attention with their unique, acclaimed brand of theatre and sold-out shows. They create entirely improvised, full-length plays in various styles. Every show is completely different, and each performance is seen only by the audience in the theatre on that night, making every Impro show a truly unique theatrical experience. In Los Angeles, Impro Theatre is currently in residence at The Broad Stage, producing 9 different Signature Productions throughout the season. They have performed locally at South Coast Repertory, the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre, The Falcon Theatre in Burbank, North Coast Repertory, Lewis Family Playhouse, The Carrie Hamilton Theatre at The Pasadena Playhouse, and many more. Impro Theatre has also headlined comedy events around the country, performed at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Athenaeum Theatre in Chicago, Texas State University, Sarasota Improv Festival, and dozens more, and recently performed internationally in Dubai and Oslo, Norway.

Los Angeles Times writes, "Impro Theatre has evolved into a powerhouse improvisational company in full-length shows that are off-the-cuff and consistently hilarious. An indigenous Los Angeles treasure, the company should be seen - and reseen!" American Theatre magazine said, "These virtuosic talents simply are as superhuman as they seem. These serious professional actors, classically trained, can write on their feet better than many writers can type at a desk. Impro's work has taught me to demand more from the theatre." Impro's shows have been consistently honored with "Ovation Recommended" and "Critic's Picks," and they were named by LAist as one of the 12 Best Theatre Companies in Los Angeles.

Pledge Drive UnScripted starts on July 6, and the 30-hour improv marathon continues through July 7, 2018. Most shows are Pay-What-You-Can. Full schedule is at www.ImproTheatre.com.
