IT'S A BIRD...IT'S A PLANE..IT'S SUPERMAN Comes to The Grove Today
You've heard of SPIDERMAN THE MUSICAL? The Grove Theatre brings you the family Broadway musical IT'S A BIRD...IT'S A PLANE..IT'S SUPERMAN.
Recently brought back for a revival in NYC by Encores, this "superhero hit" recreates all of the sound and fun of the 1960's. Written by the same composers as Bye Bye Birdie, the show is for young and old alike.
Family entertainment once again will fly onto The Grove stage on weekends, beginning today, April 22, where it will continue through May 8, 2016, directed by Kristopher Kyer, who directed Peter Pan, Mary Poppins and Disney's The Little Mermaid at The Grove Theatre.
This is family entertainment at its finest!! SUPERMAN THE MUSICAL is the tale of Superman's efforts to defeat a vengeful scientist, Dr. Abner Sedgwick, who seeks to destroy the world's symbol of good. Additionally, there is tension between Superman and a columnist for the Daily Planet newspaper because of the superhero's attraction to Lois Lane.
Tickets are $30.00 and $25.00 for adults and $15 for children and can be purchased by calling (909) 920-4343, by visiting The Grove box office or on our website at www.grovetheatre.com. The Grove Theatre is located at 276 E. Ninth Street, Upland, CA 91786. Box Office Hours (except holidays) - Tuesday - Friday 11:00 am - 4:00 pm and 1 hour prior to performances.
