I'M GONNA KILL THE PRESIDENT Returns To L.A.! Image

The award-winning guerrilla-theater comedy "I'm Gonna Kill the President!" A Federal Offense will return to Los Angeles this fall, apropos of absolutely nothing happening in America.

Performances take place in secret locations throughout Los Angeles, changing neighborhoods every week. Audience must call the IGKTP! hotline for reservations and instructions: (209) 375-0411. Runs Oct. 13-Nov. 18. Saturdays at 8pm & Sundays at 7pm. Tickets are $20 if you can, $10 if you can't. CASH ONLY.

"President!" ran in New York City during the 2004 Republican Convention, and received a visit from the Secret Service. The show performed in parks, parking lots, basements, backyards, alleys, warehouses, and community centers across America. It served as a lightning rod for agitated Americans watching their country subjected to a reactionary takeover. The play received an L.A. Weekly Award in 2006, and crashed the 2007 Piccolo Spoleto Festival. ?Here's "President!" on Fox News in 2004.

The story follows a couple of fugitive revolutionaries trying to overthrow the government, as they tour the political landscape and find ridiculousness across the spectrum. The script has been minimally updated since its initial run, as most of the old jokes are sadly new again.

Since its initial productions during the George W. Bush era, subversive public-dissonance creator Hieronymous BANG has been on the run, fomenting beautiful chaos and ridiculous befuddlement wherever it is needed.
