Hillbarn Theatre Kicks Off 2016-17 Season With LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL
Hillbarn Theatre kicks off its 2016-2017 season with Harvard's most beloved blonde, Elle Woods, who will take the stage by pink storm inLegally Blonde The Musical. A fabulously fun international award-winning musical based on the adored 2001 film and book by Heather Hach, this fun, upbeat story of self-discovery follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes, snobbery, and scandal in pursuit of her dreams.
This action-packed musical explodes on the stage with dynamic dances and memorable songs featuring music and lyrics by Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin. Equal parts hilarious and heart-warming, Legally Blonde The Musical has been nominated for seven Tony Awards and 10 Drama Desk Awards.
Legally Blonde The Musical will run August 25-September 18, 2016 at Hillbarn Theatre (1285 East Hillsdale Blvd., Foster City).
