Harley Jay and Jayme Lake will present 'Avant Garde' at Vitello's in Studio City, California, on Saturday April 3rd, 2010.

'Avant Garde' is a mass mix of songs chosen and put into a show to express not only our gratitude and love to the theater but also our love and gratitude for performance art as a whole. We have tossed some Broadway favorites in there like One Song Glory from Rent and Suddenly Seymore from Little Shop of Horrors, as well as some of our favorite pop rock tunes like The Way You Make Me Feel by Michael Jackson and Alone by Heart. We've also tossed in a few original songs so the night will be a great one. Bring the entire family (including the kids) eat, drink and enjoy

Jayme Lake has been seen Off-Broadway in Hillary Agonistes, and she created the role of Candy in the world premiere musical, YEEHAD!, at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. Additional theatre credits include Footloose; Songs for a New World; tick, tick...BOOM!; and Defying Gravity.

Harley Jay has been seen in the National Touring Company as well as the Broadway cast of Rent in the role of Mark Cohen He also released a solo album album of original material entitled "Without Wax." He has opened for such artists as Laurence Juber (former lead guitar player for Paul McCartney and Wings), The Lovell Sisters and Grammy winner James Otto. Jay has also released a CD of Broadway tunes, called "Between 41st and 53rd."
