General Hospital's Anthony Geary Leads LbP's INTO THE WOODS, Opens 10/22

By:

Lucid by Proxy presents Into the Woods with a book by James Lapine, music & lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. The show will run October 22 - November 20, 2010

the story
Lucid by Proxy's 10th Anniversary production is a collaboration between the critically acclaimed company and Calvin Remsberg, renowned actor, singer, director and vocal coach.

Our take on this beloved play strips away the lavish, brightly-colored fairy-tale sets and costumes typically associated with Into the Woods to focus on the actors, the incredible story and amazing music. This is Into the Woods in a way you've not seen before.

Into the Woods is the story of a baker and his wife, a curious young girl, a downtrodden daughter of a broken home, a simple boy who loves his cow, and the witch next door, and what happens after all their wishes come true and Real Life sets in. It is Lucid by Proxy's 17th production, and their return to Los Angeles theater after two long years.
