By popular demand, the Hollywood Bowl is once again transformed into the world's largest movie theater for the Grease Sing-A-Long tonight, July 14, 2012. The show, hosted by Didi Conn ("Frenchy"), will feature the Paramount Pictures film, complete with subtitles so the whole audience can sing along.

Before the beloved film is projected on the Bowl's giant screen at 8:30 PM, audience members are invited to join the pre-show fun, starting at 7:00 PM. In addition to a '50s dance party in the Pool Circle, replacing the costume parade will be a revamped, all-new costume competition, where those with the very best costumes will be selected to strut their stuff on the catwalk.

Directed by Randal Kleiser and based on Jim Jacobs' and WarRen Casey's musical of the same name, Grease was released in 1978 by Paramount Pictures to tremendous critical and popular acclaim. The film was nominated for five Golden Globes and an Oscar, and was the winner of the People's Choice Award for Best Musical. Grease stars John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John, Stockard Channing, Jeff Conaway, and Didi Conn.

The Hollywood Bowl is located at 2301 N Highland Ave, Los Angeles, Calif. Tickets are currently on sale at the Hollywood Bowl Box Office (12PM – 6PM, Tuesday – Sunday); via credit card phone order at 323.850.2000, or through Ticketmaster. Groups of 10 or more may call 323.850.2050 for information about special rates, subject to availability.
