Ethan Paisley, age 17, is nominated for "Best Young Director" for his film Indelible at the Young Entertainer Awards 2018 alongside young Hollywood royalty Corey Feldman, Peyton List, and Anthony Gonzalez. The Young Entertainer Awards Foundation seeks to recognize outstanding performances of young entertainers in film, television, stage, and music and to assist and encourage physically or financially challenged performers to keep their dreams alive through our scholarship program.

This year will mark the third installment of the awards show, and the first time young people from behind the camera are being recognized. Paisley is more than qualified when it comes to being nominated for his directorial work. So far, he has already garnered 20 awards for his 18 short films and 2 feature films. Notable titles include The Art of Escape, Oak, Point 453, and Indelible. Beyond sweeping the festival circuit, he has also made large steps in the world of global distribution. Both of his features have been distributed to VoD and his latest (Point 453) will be available on iTunes, Amazon, and Google Play later this year. Most recently, it was announced the young artist will be premiering his latest film Wilted at the Nice International Film Festival followed by a screening at the Cannes Court Métrage in May.

Other nominees in his category include Jax Malcolm for his film Conservation Invasion and Alexis Rosinsky for her film Faery. The red carpet and awards show will begin at 9:30am on Sunday April 15, 2018 at The Globe Theatre at Universal Studios Hollywood. Good luck in the competition, Ethan!

Ethan Paisley is an American film producer. His content has garnered over 1 million YouTube views and a social media following of 20K+. His feature film Point 453 premiered at the 70th Cannes Film Festival where it scored VOD distribution. He spoke at TEDxSonoma and Variety's Digital Hollywood. Paisley has won 20 filmmaking awards worldwide. He was recently nominated for the American Red Cross - Youth Humanitarian Award for his commitment to overturning human trafficking
