Several seasons ago, Children's Theatre Group of Southern California presented "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown," the first of the two musicals derived from the popular comic strip "Peanuts." Now, they're presenting the follow-up, "Snoopy."

Charlie Brown's dog, Snoopy, is featured more prominently here. In addition to Charlie Brown and Snoopy, you'll see characters Linus, Lucy, Sally, Peppermint Patty and Woodstock.

Snoopy's the great American writer, he's the canine companion to Linus waiting for The Great Pumpkin, he watches clouds with the kids, he ultimately receives his appointment as The Head Beagle. In short, he's live on stage just as audiences remember him in their favorite Peanuts comic strip stories.

The cast includes (in alphabetical order): Major Curda, Lucy Gilbert, Addison Landsburg-Putman, Jack O'Dea, Ava Penner, Peter Wolf and Mikaela Zelinger.

The cast of teens and juveniles is directed and choreographed by the award-winning Kay Cole, who guided productions at The Eclectic, Edgemar Center, Falcon Theatre, Pasadena Playhouse, Hollywood Bowl, Hudson Theatre, Geffen Playhouse, Antaeus Theatre, Playwrights Arena, Shakespeare L.A., Broadway and London's West End, as well as television and film.

Set design: Michael Harris. Costume design: Tricia Berry. Lighting design: John Dickey. Assistant director: Katie Scarlett.

Join America's best-loved characters for an evening or matinee of musical fun. Reserve early, as some performances are certain to sell out.
