Del’A’Rue Productions BEYOND Ends Run At El Portal Theatre

Del'A'Rue Productions proudly presents BEYOND...Leap from Dream to Reality July 1 - August 1, 2010 at the historic El Portal Theatre Mainstage in the NOHO Arts District.

The El Portal Theatre is located at 5269 Lankershim Boulevard, North Hollywood, CA 91601.
Regular show schedule Tuesdays through Saturdays 8:30PM and Sundays 7PM.
Tickets will cost $35 Tuesdays and Wednesdays and $55 Thursday through Sunday.

July 1, Preview at 8:30 PM. July 2, Red Carpet Gala Opening Night at 7:00 PM Hosted by ABC television star Gilles Marini. Opening Gala tickets are $100 and include Champagne Reception.
July 14 at 7PM, Bastille Day tickets are $75 and include hors d'oeuvre's, wine and more to be announced.
Closing Night August 1 at 7PM.

A French cabaret elegance show with phenomenal multi-cultural, world-class entertainers, dancers, aerialists, acrobats, and a smoky torch singer will excite and arouse in a romantic delight for the senses! This sexy, glitzy show features dancing from around the world. BEYOND is the first show of it's kind in Los Angeles and will appeal to adults, couples and families of all nationalities and languages looking for an authentically breath-taking night out.

Created by international aerialist, acrobat and dancer Aurelien Roulin, BEYOND is a tribute to his life journey, experiences and travels. In a world of pure imagination, BEYOND is the story of a man in his search for love who enters a dream through dance and cirque, which then turns into waking reality. The dream transports him around the world through the magic of dance. The journey encompasses ballroom, lyrical, contemporary, musical, jazz, Bollywood, Asian fusion, circus, elegant French can-can and cabaret. BEYOND will defy explanation and is appropriate for all ages!

Playing on the four elements; water, earth, fire and air, this world premiere is an exciting, unique blend of amazing aerial work and an acrobatic medley of choreography and costumes with a touch of French style cabaret. . A beautiful water curtain and lighting will take you on a journey BEYOND ...from Dream to Reality. The cast members and specialty acts include: aerialists, singers, a Master of Ceremonies, a contortionist, hand balancing acrobats, a Cyr wheel artist and Chinese pole act along with dances ranging from Bollywood, ballroom, fire, can-can and much more!

BEYOND features original music from Emmanuel Moire of Paris, France was the French lead in the French Musical " Le Roi Soleil" in Paris, composer, song writer, and singer, along with glamorous hand made costumes embellished with Swarovski crystals and jewels from Olivier Pascal, Frederic Couture and Les Oiseaux du Paradis of Paris, France. Additional museum quality costumes from India and around the world designed by Aurelien Roulin and Mikiko Nagao.

Red Carpet Gala Opening Night is July 2, tickets are $100, which includes hors d'oeuvre's, dessert bites and champagne reception sponsored by Farniente, Nickel & Nickel and En Route Wineries from Napa, California. Special guest of honor will be Gilles Marini, star of the ABC television show Brothers and Sisters. In addition, all proceeds from opening night will benefit the Southern California Lymphoma Research Foundation. More special guests to be announced. Stay tuned for BEYOND Red Carpet updates!
