Dave Reinitz to Tape Live Special At Flappers Comedy Club
Dave Reinitz (THE JIMMY DORE SHOW, THIS AMERICAN LIFE) will present a live taping of his one hour special, "Laugh Resist Reinitz," a show that dives into politics, news, and activism with humor and insight, Saturday, March 31 at 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM at Flappers Comedy Club and Restaurant in Downtown Burbank. Reinitz's unique perspective and sarcasm gives delivers a hilarious hour of standup comedy that won't soon be forgotten. Originally from Ithaca, New York, but now residing in Burbank, California, Reinitz's humor comes with a distinctive political twist, listing George Carlin, Bill Maher, and Chris Rock as sources of inspiration. He has been heard on "This American Life," KPFA Radio, and performs regularly at clubs and colleges across the country. He's also easily recognizable as "The Jet Blue Guy," who filmed a farewell message to his girlfriend inside the cabin of flight 292 that had an emergency landing at LAX.
