Coltrin 1 October 2011 Civic Light Opera of South Bay Cities at the Hermosa Beach Playhouse and Executive Producer James A. The Noel Coward classic that has kept audiences in stitches for eighty years. On the terrace of a hotel in the French Riviera in 1930, a divorced couple unwittingly meet on their respective honeymoons with new spouses. They hilariously abandon their new spouses to reignite their torrid love for each other, and quickly remember why they got divorced in the first place. Through their sharp turns of wit, to downright tearing the house apart, it's an evening of laughter from beginning to end.

Noel Coward wrote this play in a hotel in China in four days in 1930 for his friend, Gertrude Lawrence, and both of them appeared in the original production. It has subsequently been made into many films and had revivals on the West End, Broadway (including a NY revival
opening this fall), been made into films, and has been considered one of Coward's best works.
The cast features Patrick Vest as Elyot, Suzanne Dean as Amanda, Cylan Brown as Victor and Barbara Suiter as Sybil. Directed by Stephanie A. Coltrin, Set Design by Christopher Beyries, Lighting Design by Ric Zimmerman, Costume Design by Christa Armendariz, Sound Design by Kevin Goold.
