Candice Guardino's ITALIAN BRED Returns to the Hudson Theatre Tonight
It was announced today by Bull by the Horns Productions, that Actress, Writer, and Storyteller Candice Guardino has been invited back to the Hudson Theatre to perform her smash hit show Italian Bred.
Italian Bred premiered Off-Broadway, NYC in 2013 to outstanding reviews, followed by a successful run in LA this last summer. Now back by popular demand Candice Guardino's Italian Bred is back on stage!
Candice Guardino created a funny and heartwarming solo-show, sharing personal stories and singing iconic songs while impersonating various members of her family. The show includes virtual celebrity appearances from Mario Cantone (Sex & the City), Steve Schirripa (Sopranos), Emmy Award-winner Leslie Jordan, and Vic DiBitetto (Mall Cop). Much like the nostalgic scent of Sunday dinner, Italian Bred will remind audiences of their own unique upbringing and unforgettably humorous childhood memories. Candice Guardino was born in Brooklyn, NY and earned her BA in Musical Theatre from Wagner College on Staten Island. During her career, she has written screenplays, dramas, sketch comedies, and sitcoms. Candice Guardino has appeared in Gypsy, West Side Story, Bye Bye Birdie, and Antigone. Candice has also performed at the Comedy Store in LA, as well as Gotham and the PIT in NYC. Candice Guardino is currently a comedy writer for the CBS Diversity Showcase, which premieres January 2015.
