Vintage City Entertainment will present "Closed Mouth Can't Sing", written and starring Danyol Jaye and directed by Tai French.
"Closed Mouth Can't Sing" is a semi-autobiographical, one-man staged play that depicts the depths of sexual abuse, self-acceptance, and self-discovery. Following the life of a young boy growing into manhood, audiences witness the fears, deception and life altering moments that occur when a child is violated and abused by someone they love and trust. With a plethora of other hilarious, wise and complicated characters, Closed Mouths challenges the family dynamic of keeping secrets, exposing truths and finding your own voice." The show runs tonight, November 30th at 8 p.m. and Sunday, December 1st at 5 p.m. at the Missing Piece Theatre, 2811 W. Magnolia Blvd, Burbank, Calif.
