Betty Ferguson Memorial Service Set for October 7
By: Robert Diamond
The Covina Center for the Performing Arts has annouced the sad passing of Betty Ferguson.
A statement notes:
"Betty was the driving force behind both the West Covina Playhouse followed by the Covina Valley Playhouse until the property was purchased to make way for the Covina Center for the Performing Arts.
Although retired from the theater world for many years she still attended every show in support of CCPA.
She will be missed by all of us who grew up in "her" theaters.
We will hold a memorial open house for her Monday October 7th from 6:00-7:00 at CCPA"
