La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts and McCoy Rigby Entertainment have announced their "Broadway's Best" 2013- 2014 season of shows, as they also celebrate McCoy Rigby's 20th Anniversary season with the theatre! Beginning its "Broadway's Best" anniversary season with Neil Simon's Tony Award-winning masterwork BROADWAY BOUND; followed by two of the most acclaimed recent plays of our time, the Tony Award & Pulitzer Prize-winning plays, RABBIT HOLE by David Lindsay-Abaire and Yasmina Reza's comedy of manners (where there are no manners!), GOD OF CARNAGE; followed by two of the biggest Broadway musical hits ever CATS and the regional theatre premiere of a brand new production of LES MISERABLES! Add into the mix the bonus options of its new "Onstage Series" production of FLOYD COLLINS and the unmistakable harmonies of THE OAK RIDGE BOYS and La Mirada and the Southern California area will certainly have the "Best of Broadway" and beyond coming its way in 2013-2014.

Neil Simon's acclaimed autobiographical Pulitzer Prize-winner finds Eugene and his older brother Stanley trying to break into the world of show business as professional comedy writers while coping with their parents break-up and eventual divorce. When their material is broadcast on the radio for the first time, the family is upset to hear a thinly-veiled portrait of themselves played for laughs.

Based on the universally popular poetry of T.S. Eliot, CATS tells the story, in song and dance, of the annual gathering of Jellicle cats at which time one special cat is selected to ascend to the Heaviside layer. A true musical theatre phenomenon, CATS opened at London's New London Theatre on May 11, 1981 and ran for a record-setting 21 years.CATS' London success was nearly matched on Broadway where it ran at the Winter Garden Theatre for just over 18 years.

McCoy Rigby Entertainment (Tom McCoy & Cathy Rigby McCoy, Executive Producers)Tom McCoy and Cathy Rigby are in their 18th season as Executive Producers of the McCoy Rigby Entertainment Series at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts.
