From Manhattan, NY to Manhattan Beach, CA, follow a struggling athlete's triumphant rise and journey of self-discovery when Beach Kings premieres on DVD July 14 from MGM Home Entertainment. David Charvet ("Baywatch," "Melrose Place") plays CameRon Day, a former college basketball star who has never been able to balance his unique gift of greatness with the tormenting mental sacrifice. After a mysterious ten year disappearance from the athletic world he once dominated, Cameron is now determined to become an elite athlete once again. This time, however, he sets his sights on ruling the pro beach volleyball circuit. Cameron's relentless mission is inspired by an artistic beach beauty named Mia (Torrey DeVitto; "One Tree Hill"), who, despite her unwillingness to date jocks, leads Cameron down a path of self awareness. On the tour, Cameron makes new friends and enemies, and in his maddening pursuit of victory at one of the premiere tournaments, The Manhattan Open, he is forced to determine who he can trust as he sets out to not only win but to face his demons in his own quest for a brief moment of brilliance.
