AMY SNOWDEN'S CASTING CONFESSIONS FROM LA TO LA Set for Hollywood Fringe Festival 2016

Stand-up comedienne, Amy Snowden's one-woman performance Casting Confessions From La to LA. is written and performed by Amy Snowden and directed by Joe Salazar. The show will premiere as part of The Hollywood Fringe Festival 2016. Opening June 3rd, 2016 at The Actors Company (Let Live Theatre).

Casting Confession's is a outrageous and comical insight into Snowden's formative years in a small town in Louisiana, getting chewed up and spit-out in Hollywood and her secret ways of finally making money to survive and rise in the OC. Amy's wild ride is full of hilarious and terrifying stories of nightmare roommates, nowhere jobs, public transportation, and non-traditional "happy endings". Amy Snowden's Casting Confessions From La to LA is an outlandish journey from innocence to guilty in a few short years.

Casting Confessions From La to LA opens Friday, June 3rd at 8:30 PM at The Actors Company (916 A North Formosa Avenue, West Hollywood, 90046) and plays Saturday, June 11th at 10:00 PM, Sunday, June 12th at 5:30 PM, Thursday, June 16th at 8:30 PM, Saturday, June 18th at 10:00 PM, Friday, June 24th at 8:30 PM, Saturday, June 25th at 11:30 PM and Sunday, June 26th at 5:00 PM.

BIOS

Amy Snowden grew up in a small town in Oakdale Louisiana a very awkward, quirky, shy kid. She started as a country songwriter writing her own original songs then moved her way own to stand up comedy...

After making her way to Hollywood she appeared on FX's man show winning an all female comedy contest. Other television credits include "Americas got Talent," "Comedy Time," and was recently named as a top 5 five finalists on the Jon Lovitz "Find Me A Comic" contest.

She now resides in Los Angeles and Orange County calling her living situation bi county. She plays all the major comedy clubs. The Laugh Factory, The World Famous Comedy Store and the Hollywood Improv. She has also traveled the road, opening up for major headliners.

She would say she found her heart and soul at The Comedy Store of all the clubs..

Amy now hopes to take all her life experiences into her one-woman show to share all of what she experienced through her journey.
