ALL SHOOK UP Comes to El Portal Theatre
3000 Miles Off Broadway Productions in association with Studio C Performing Arts presents ALL SHOOK UP, the musical inspired by the songs of Elvis Presley on the Debbie Reynolds Mainstage at the historic El Portal Theatre in the NOHO Arts District, April 13 - 22, 2018. El Portal Theatre is located at 5269 Lankershim Blvd in North Hollywood, California.
The songs of Elvis Presley form the backdrop for this musical about a mysterious, leather-jacketed stranger who shakes up a small Midwestern town in the 1950s. Tony Award Winner Joe DiPietro's tale of the cross-dressing, mistaken identity and romance that ensue was inspired by Twelfth Night and other Shakespearean comedies. Featuring the hit songs we have learned to love "Love Me Tender," "Heartbreak Hotel," "Jailhouse Rock," and "Can't Help Falling in Love."
Performances of ALL SHOOK UP are Friday at 8pm, Saturday at 3pm & 8pm, and Sunday at 2 pm . Tickets are $39 to $59. Group discounts available.

El Portal Theatre is a historic landmark in the San Fernando Valley located in the heart of North Hollywood just minutes from Universal Studios, Warner Brothers, Disney, ABC, CBS-Radford and NBC Burbank. The theatre, originally built as a vaudeville house in 1926, sits across Lankershim Blvd from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the Art Institute of California-Hollywood. In June of 2017 El Portal christened its Mainstage Theatre THE Debbie Reynolds MAINSTAGE In honor of Debbie and her participation with the theatre.
