On December 14, 2010 Deutsche Grammophon releases Celebración: 2010 Opening Night Concert at Walt Disney Concert Hall, a live recording on DVD of Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic in a Latin-inspired program featuring special guest artist, tenor Juan Diego Floréz. The worldwide release (outside of the U.S.) is slated for November 26, 2010. The audio of the concert will be available for download from iTunes on November 22, 2010 as part of the DG Concerts series. The concert was recorded on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Walt Disney Concert Hall.

Celebración: 2010 Opening Night Concert at Walt Disney Concert Hall was a special program of bel canto arias and popular Latin American canciones selected by Dudamel and Flórez and featured overtures and arias by Rossini, in addition to songs by Granda, Lara, Grever and Gutiérrez. Following the final piece, Márquez' Danzón No. 2, the audience beckoned Flórez back to the stage for two encores: Donizetti's Ah! Mes amis and Verdi's ever-popular La donne e mobile.

Celebración: 2010 Opening Night Concert at Walt Disney Concert Hall was recorded for telecast by Bernhard Fleischer Moving Images, THIRTEEN for WNET.ORG, 3sat and the Los Angeles Philharmonic as part of public television's performing arts series Great Performances. Celebración will air in the U.S., Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 9 p.m. (check local listings).
