Original Stars of Broadway's RENT to Perform at the Engeman
On Monday, October 17, 2016 Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp, original stars of the hit Broadway musical RENT, will perform their new show "Adam & Anthony Live" at the John W. Engeman Theater.
Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the iconic musical RENT, the concert will feature material from both artists' solo shows, popular hits, and duets as they performed in the original Broadway production, National Tour and film adaptation of RENT. Adam and Anthony will also share stories about working with Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright and composer Jonathan Larson on the groundbreaking original production of RENT.
Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp played Roger and Mark (respectively) in the 1996 original Broadway cast of RENT. The cast also featured Broadway stars Idina Menzel, Taye Diggs and Daphne Rubin-Vega. Adam and Anthony reprised their roles in the 2005 motion picture adaptation of the musical and are featured on both the original Broadway cast recording and the motion picture soundtrack.
