John W. Engeman Theater Presents SLEEPING BEAUTY 10/3-31

The John W. Engeman Theater at Northport is proud to present Sleeping Beauty, part of the TD BANK Youth Theater Series.

Sleeping Beauty is a rustic fairy tale in The Brothers Grimm tradition that tells the story of good and evil witches vying for power; a childless King and Queen that want nothing more than to have a family; a princess that is protected by a surly half-human/half dragon that watches over her; and Forrest Fairies that lead a lost Prince to his Sleeping Beauty.

The cast of Sleeping Beauty features: Christina Corsaro(THE SLEEPING BEAUTY BRIAR ROSE); Chris Brady(PRINCE OWAIN); Jennifer Collister-Tully(THE EVILE WITCH MODRON); Doreen Firestone(THE GOOD WITCH BRANWEN); Donnalynn Maggio(QUEEN GUINEVERE); Josh Rothberg(KING PEREDUR); and Evan Schultz(THE HALF DRAGON GRYFF).

Sleeping Beauty is Directed and Choreographed by Vic Dimonda. The Musical Direction is by Jennifer Collester-Tully and Doreen Firestone. The Costume Designer is Jillian Coratti. Sonoka Fukuma-Gozelski is the Set and Props Designer. Mark Adam Rampmeyer is the Artistic Administrator.

Sleeping Beauty will play the following performance schedule: Saturdays at 11:00am and Sundays at 10:00am October 3 through October 31, 2010.
