Popular comedian, actor, author and talk show host, George Lopez, will perform his hilarious stand-up routine when he debuts at The Mirage Hotel & Casino Friday, Aug. 12 and Saturday, Aug. 13. He is scheduled to return with additional show dates Friday, Oct. 28 and Saturday, Oct. 29. Lopez currently stars in the groundbreaking late-night show "Lopez Tonight" on TBS. He will take the stage at 10 p.m. nightly inside the Terry Fator Theatre.

Lopez has made more than 200 television comedy, talk show and host appearances, including co-hosting the Emmy® Awards and hosting the Latin GRAMMY® Awards twice. Lopez also maintains an extremely active schedule as a stand-up comedian. In 2004, he released his comedy album Team Leader which earned him a GRAMMY® nomination. His 2009 comedy special, "George Lopez: Tall, Dark and Chicano," was the highest-rated stand-up special on HBO in five years and he received the 2009 Teen Choice Award for "Favorite Comedian."

Lopez branched out into the writing world with his autobiography "Why You Crying?" which landed on The New York Times Top 20 bestsellers' list. Throughout the years, Lopez has played significant roles in several features and TV movie including "The Spy Next Door," "Valentine's Day," "Marmaduke" and "Henry Poole is Here." He recently lent his voice to the live-action Walt Disney Pictures' blockbuster film "Beverly Hills Chihuahua" opposite Drew Barrymore, Andy Garcia and Salma Hayek.
