SEA MARKS Comes to H&R Block City Stage at Union Station You're invited to join us for this exclusive one-time interview as Angela Elam--host of New Letters on the Air (produced at UMKC and aired locally on Sundays at 6:30 a.m. on KCUR 89.3 FM)--talks with local author Alan Proctor before the January 18th performance of Sea Marks from 6:45-7:15 p.m.

Sea Marks tells the story of a romance that blooms by mail between an isolated Irish fisherman and the object of his affection. In celebration of the power of the written word by letter, we're honored to present local poet and author Alan Proctor, whose book, The Sweden File, uses letters to tell the story of fraternal love between him and his late brother, an expatriated conscientious objector to the Vietnam War.
Join us for what promises to be a lively and interesting conversation in celebration of language and the written word.

This is a free event, but you do need a ticket for the performance of Sea Marks on January 18th to attend. To purchase tickets to Sea Marks use the button below or contact the Central Ticket Office at 816-235-6222. (The Central Ticket Office will be closed from December 23rd to January 1st.)
