ASSISTANT COMPANY MANAGER- Theatre By The Sea, Matunuck RI - April-September 2026



The historic Theatre By The Sea in Matunuck RI, is seeking an experienced Assistant Company Manager for its upcoming 2026 summer season! Come be a part of it!



Employment from April 20 to Sept 20, with the season running from May 11 through Sept 13.

Candidate attributes: theatre loving team player, excellent at multi-tasking, strong work ethic, compassionate, kind, and a sense of humor.



A key requirement is a valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record, and the ability to drive a

12-15 passenger van. The Company Management team needs to drive actors to and from all rehearsals and performances, with scheduled grocery and laundry runs weekly. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the coordination of travel and housing for actors and guest artists. The Company Management team is responsible for getting housing ready for the season and for changing over rooms from one show to the next. Company Management also provides crew meals during tech week, as well as arranging hospitality for up to 60 people.



You will work closely under the supervision of the Company Manager and help the Company Management Intern.
