POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Market Manager with a strong emphasis on project management to join our team. As a Market Manager, you will be responsible for leading and executing marketing initiatives, overseeing projects from conception to completion, and driving the achievement of business objectives. Your ability to manage projects effectively while coordinating cross-functional teams will be essential in ensuring successful marketing campaigns and driving growth in our target market. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Project Management: Monitor marketing projects and campaigns, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic objectives. Develop and manage project timelines, assign tasks to team members and allocate resources to ensure smooth project execution. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape. Utilize insights to inform marketing strategies, campaigns, and product/service positioning. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various internal teams, including marketing, audience services, L.A.C.E., development and artistic, to define project objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Collaborate effectively to ensure seamless coordination and implementation of marketing initiatives. Performance Tracking and Reporting: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing projects and campaigns. Track and analyze campaign performance, measure results against goals, and prepare regular reports for management, highlighting insights, learnings, and recommendations for optimization. Budget Management: Manage marketing budgets for assigned projects. Monitor expenses, track spending against allocated budgets, and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources while maximizing project outcomes. Connect with the Marketing Director on a weekly basis to discuss the budget and updates. Vendor/Media Management: Build and maintain relationships with key vendors (photographers/videographers), influencers and media partners. Communicate project updates to effectively ensure alignment and support on projects. Continued Learning: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing and project management. Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and innovation to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness. ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS Project Management Expertise: Proven experience in successfully managing and delivering complex marketing projects from inception to completion. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices. Creative Briefing: Expertise in developing clear and comprehensive creative briefs to guide marketing campaign execution. Analytical Skills: Proficiency in market research and analysis. Ability to interpret data, extract actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing efforts and maximize ROI. Leadership and Collaboration: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and drive projects to successful completion. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate project objectives, progress, and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address communication challenges and identify opportunities for improvement. Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in all communication materials. Stakeholder Management: Skill in managing relationships with stakeholders and senior management, providing updates and insights on marketing projects. Time Management: Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently. Passion for the Arts/Non-Profit Sector: Enthusiasm for the mission and values of the non-profit theatre or organization being served.
