FSCJ Artist Series to Present DANCING PROS: LIVE!, 2/22/2015
Dancing Pros: Live! will dance into Jacksonville's Times-Union Center's Moran Theater on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at 7:00PM! Starring Karina Smirnoff as the Head Judge, and featuring Edyta Sliwinska and Chelsie Hightower from "Dancing with the Stars," the best dancers from around the world will thrill and dazzle audiences coast to coast! Dancing Pros Live! is hosted by Alan Thicke, star of the hit TV show "Growing Pains."
Tickets for Dancing Pros: Live! are on sale now through the FSCJ Artist Series, sponsored by Chase, the official presenter of the Jacksonville show. Tickets start at $37.50 at www.artistseriesjax.org, (904) 442-2929, and the FSCJ Artist Series Box Office between 10AM-5PM, Monday-Friday. Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more at (904) 442-2947 or groupsales@fscj.edu. A limited number of Meet and Greet Packages, including a VIP seat and a pre-show meet and greet with the cast, are available for sale.
The 2014-2015 Tour will star Karina Smirnoff (Head Judge), Alan Thicke (Host), Edyta Sliwinksa (guest star), Chelsie Hightower (Competitor), and Ryan Di Lello (Competitor). Joining them on stage will be actor and dancer, Oscar Orosco (Judge) and vocalists Joanna Pacitti, from "American Idol" Season 8, and Angel Taylor, from "The Voice" Season 2. The remaining competitors on the tour are dance champions Artur Adamski, Paul Barris, Tess Buchatsky, Alexander Chernositov, Dmitry Demidov, Denys Drozdyuk, Arina Grishanina, Regina Maziarz, Antonina Skobina, and Anastasia Trutneva.
For the first time together on stage, audiences across the country will see professional dancers from "Dancing with the Stars," "So You Think You Can Dance" and dance champions from around the world compete with one another for top prize! Watch in awe as they perform a variety of dance styles including Cha-Cha, Waltz, Tango, Swing, Freestyle Samba and the Jitterbug. Using electronic voting remotes, the audience becomes part of the show and votes for their favorite couple.
