A Knock on the Roof follows Mariam, a young woman in the occupied Golan Heights, as she prepares for the realities of war by training herself on how quickly she can escape and what she can take with her. Written by Khawla Ibraheem and presented by Piece by Piece Productions, the play highlights the tension and urgency of conflict in a personal and poignant manner. This work will have its debut at the Smock Alley Theatre, reflecting on themes of survival and resilience amidst turmoil.
