The Abbey Theatre Returns to Roscommon Arts Centre With QUIETLY Tonight

By:

The Abbey Theatre, Ireland's National Theatre, returns to Roscommon Arts Centre tonight the 18th and Wednesday 19th March for their second visit, this time with a production of Quietly by playwright Owen McCafferty.

Belfast is a place where things need to be said. Jimmy and Ian are meeting tonight for the first time. They share a violent past. They need to talk. Quietly is a powerful story of truth and forgiveness from Belfast writer McCafferty. Having enjoyed huge international success at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe winning three major awards, now the Abbey Theatre brings this important new play on a national tour, stopping in Roscommon on Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th March at 8pm. Tickets are €20/€18 and are available through Roscommon Arts Centre's box office on 090 6625824 or online at www.roscommonartscentre.ie.
