Morris PAC Appears on Pollstar Midyear Worldwide Top 100 Theatre Rankings

The Morris Performing Arts Center, South Bend, continues to shine on the Pollstar Midyear Worldwide Top 100 Theatre Venue rankings. The Morris is listed at #48 based on ticket sales for shows played between January 1 and June 30, 2011, as reported in Pollstar magazine, the concert industry's leading trade publication. South Bend's favorite live performance venue shines alongside such well-known venues as Radio City Music Hall in New York City and the Fox Theatres in Atlanta and Detroit, and ranks above the Star Plaza Theatre in Merrillville and the Embassy Theatre in Fort Wayne. The Pollstar Midyear Worldwide Top 100 Theatre Venue rankings include 20 venues from other countries. (The Morris is #38 of the Top 50 USA theatre venues.)

The Morris was built in 1921, is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and completed a restoration and renovation process in 2000 restoring it to it's original vaudeville splendor.
