Explore the Phenomenon of the Legendary Mae West in Claudia Shear's DIRTY BLONDE
Experience the first of Buck Creek Players' Collection of Favorites as we open our 43rd season of quality theater with the comedy DIRTY BLONDE by Claudia Shear, with original music by Bob Stillman. Our 198th production will open on Friday, September 30th, and continue for two weekends through October 9th, as we count down to our 200th production. Curtain times are at8PM on Friday and Saturday, with 2:30PMmatinees on Sunday. All performances will be held at the Buck Creek Playhouse, 11150 Southeastern Avenue. Admission is $18 for adults, and $16 for students and senior citizens (62 and older). Reservations are recommended, and may be reserved securely online with no added fees at www.buckcreekplayers.com.

In this touching and hilarious tribute to Mae West, the 1930s film star comes roaring back to life when two super-fans meet at her grave and form a hesitant friendship. Together, their celebrity fantasies form a strikingly human portrait of one of the world's favorite and wittiest sex symbols.
Lea Viney returns to direct at The Playhouse after most recently serving as Set Designer and Technical Director for our production of A Few Good Men last year. Joining her on the production team are Melissa DeVito (Producer/Stage Manager/Properties), Trenton Baker (Vocal Director),Cathy Cutshall (Costume Designer), Joanne M. Johnson (Lighting Designer), and Tracy Brunner(Assistant Stage Manager). Viney also serves as Set Designer and Technical Director for the production.
