Information on the Scholarship Fund

Blaine Jarrett...
a man whose involvement and dedication to theatrical arts was enjoyed and admired by everyone who had seen him perform.

Blaine was able to involve, engage, and nourish the community with each performance. The community reflected upon his inspiration and established the Blaine Jarrett Memorial Scholarship Fund to encourage young people in the path of their development and growth in the theatrical arts.

The Blaine Jarrett Memorial Scholarship Fund was started seven years ago by Blaine's family and friends. The fund has since been growing steadily thanks to the contibutions of a variety of donors and various fundraising activities. Three and a half years ago, the Blaine Jarrett Memorial Scholarship Fund reached sufficient funding to allow meaningful annual scholarships to be awarded on an on-going basis. To date, seven $1,000 scholarships have been awarded to area youth.
