The doyenne of Kuchipudi Vyjayanthi Kashi and her daughter Prateeksha Kashi has chosen the vibrant energy of 'Red'. The colour red is very auspicious in many cultures around the world. In the East it signifies good fortune and fertility. In India this primary colour is associated to “Shakti” the divine feminine cosmic energy according to Hindu mythology represents all the dynamic forces in the universe.
Vyjayanthi Kashi is celebrated not only for her deep and composite understanding of the art of Kuchipudi but also for her work as a choreographer, dance – educator and dance therapist. Her daughter and disciple Prateeksha Kashi would be accompanying her for the event. Endowed with a classical appeal and grace, Prateeksha has already established herself both as a solo artiste and as a group performer.
