With Christmas just around the corner, The National Centre forPerforming Arts (NCPA), India's premiere arts and culture institution is celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ with underprivileged children on Wednesday 18th December, 3pm at the Open Air NCPA aims to make this Christmas an unforgettable experience for over 100 children from NGOs like Baal Jeevan Trust, The Education Audiology and Research Society (EAR) and Bhavishya Yaan by lining up a wide range of exciting activities especially planned for them.

Club Desire is an ambitious theatre production inspired by the French opera, Carmen, by Georges Bizet. The story is placed in the contemporary setting of Mumbai's nightclub scene. The adaptation raises universal questions about the nature of love, tradition, modernity, freedom, possession, order and anarchy. It is the recreation of a classic and rediscovery of a timeless story to help us find meaning in our times.

Carrying forward a repute of showcasing world class events, The National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA) is all set for a new collaboration with London's British Museum to add to their popular screenings series. A special film titled Life and Death in Pompeii and Herculaneum based on the eponymous exhibition at the British Museum shall be screened on 6th and 7th October, 2013 at the Godrej Dance Theatre.
