Broadway-Style ALADDIN Premieres in Delhi

According to Business-Standard, the Broadway musical Aladdin premiered in Delhi, starting Wednesday July 4. The show, produced by BookMyShow, premiered at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium.

In attendance were Amjad Ali Khan, models Hasleen Kaur, Sapna Kumar and Laxmi Rana, designer Siddharth Tytler, Nikhil Mehra, Tanisha Mohan and Sanjoy Roy among others.

This production was also staged in Mumbai in April.

Reimagined for the Indian stage, Aladdin features 50 performers, with songs from the Disney film such as "Friend Like Me" and "A Whole New World."

The cast includes Siddharth Menon, Taaruk Raina, Kira Narayanan, Mantra and Vikrant Chaturvedi.
