By: BWW News Desk
Direct from Las Vegas, Comedy Hypnotist Don Barnhart returns to Honolulu with his outrageously funny comedy hypnosis show turning the audience into the stars of the show at Anna O'Briens tonight, Dec 6th, 2014.
Comedy Hypnotist Don Barnhart will turn the audience into the stars of the show at Anna O'Briens in Honolulu Dec 6th, 2014. The insanity begins as Barnhart takes his volunteers and turns them into the stars of the show by tapping into their subconscious mind and releasing their hidden talents in a show that is as empowering as it is entertaining. Volunteers sing, dance and sometimes often times do 'the unexpected'. Barnhart's show has been setting record attendance numbers at comedy clubs, cruise ships, colleges, high schools and corporate events around the world and Don is becoming the most requested act in these venues earning him the distinct title of, "America's #1 Comedy Hypnotist". The award-winning comedian and hypnotist is currently in preproduction on the new comedy film, The Freeloader, which he wrote and stars in. The movie is set to begin shooting in Las Vegas in 2015 and is based on Barnhart's 3rd book of the same name. The Freeloader novel was inspired by Don's numerous comedy tours for the troops and is the story of returning Veteran Guy Derek. After losing his wife, house and dog, Guy hits rock bottom and in order to find his way back becomes the Robin Hood of The Homeless. The Freeloader Movie: www.TheFreeloaderMovie.com.What Barnhart hopes to gain from entertaining the troops is the chance to meet as many people as possible, make them laugh a little and bring a taste of home and the Aloha spirit to the men and women serving in the armed forces. "I always look at comedy as a sort of pressure release valve," says Barnhart. "It allows you let off a little steam and you can get through the day no matter how tough things may be."
Over the last year, Barnhart's film career has really been gaining steam as he stars in the documentary, Finding The Funny with Brad Garret and Louie Anderson directed by comedian John Bizarre and plays a rather disgruntled, road weary and carefree comedian in the upcoming comedy film, Tribute To Fluffy directed by 1st time film director and USC film graduate Micah Cyrus.
