Songwriters' Salon to Take Place in Paris, Mar. 4
The Songwriters' Salon is a series that features select musical theatre composers and lyricists once a month. It's a casual and intimate playground for writers to share their work, and a chance for the audience to get to know the masterminds behind the music.
Broadway au Carré is the leading American musical theatre concert and open mic monthly series in Paris, France. It takes places every first Wednesday of the month at Le Carré Parisien, a typical Parisian café and cave-à-vins, with a cabaret concert by a featured performer, followed by an open mic, where some of the best local artists gather to belt out their favorite Broadway show tunes. Broadway au Carré also features a new American musical theatre composer each month, with a set of songs that have never been performed in Europe before.
Colton Pometta and Lisandro Nesis, creators of The Songwriters' Salon and Broadway au Carré, have been working together to present a very special event where the two cities that never sleep will become one and some great American and French musical theatre songwriters of the new generation will be honored: "The Songwriter's Salon @ Broadway au Carré" will take place on Wednesday March 4th at 7:30 pm.
