SEEKING:

Eric:

33, likable gay guy, slightly neurotic, even moreso in the wake of the events of 9/11. Recently broken up from his boyfriend of 3 years, comic front but hiding the pain behind this. A downtown, freelance photographer but too depressed to work. LEAD.

Josie:

33, a strikingly stylish Upper East side wife, recently married after dating same guy for many years, uptown life clashes somewhat with her old downtown attitude, major New Yorker, has known Eric since they were in college together. PRINCIPAL.

Alex:

29, any ethnicity, a handsome Wall Street gay guy, industrious worker-bee whose life has been utterly turned upside down after surviving the 9/11 attack. He looks semi-conservative but acts newly enlightened and extremely upbeat, almost evangelical in his newfound knowledge about what’s important and what isn’t. PRINCIPAL.

Kevin:

30-40, strung out chain smoker, working for a trucking company, NJ suburban working class, new to New York City but pretends he isn’t, enjoys hanging out at the mall for fun. SUPPORTING.

Jeremy:

25, a charming British man, very polite and proper, working at the St. Regis Hotel, very new to New York, somewhat imperious at first…but basically nice. SUPPORTING.

Max:

20, a peacenik NYU student, straight hippie kid who grew up on the Left Coast. Skating and surfing are his special skills. He is very genuine and without guile, trying to be a positive force in a world gone negative SUPPORTING.

Jeff:

36, a jockey political consultant and former New Yorker, born and bred in Soho before it was SoHo. Business-like and somewhat socially aloof. Good hearted at his core. SUPPORTING.
