Preparation
Please prepare 16 bars of a pop or contemporary Broadway song AND a 1-minute comic monologue. Bring sheet music in the correct key; an accompanist will be provided, but may not transpose. Please bring a photo and resume, stapled back-to-back.

Performers of all ethnic and racial backgrounds are encouraged to attend.

“9 To 5” music/lyrics by Dolly Parton and book by Patricia Resnick, director Jacques Stewart;


“Moose Capades” by John Watson Stewart, music/lyrics by various writers, Director - Jacques Stewart:

MOOSE CAPADES is an ensemble musical comedy. Score is original songs in Musical Comedy style with additional popular song medleys. Characters are former child stars now in their 20s to early 30s.

CUBBY - Male, African American, jolly, baritone
BONITA - Female, Hispanic, vivacious, mezzo,
DIZZY - Male, nerd, high baritone
MITZI - Female, ditsy, sexy, mezzo.
DARLENE - Female, Southern, high soprano,
PROFESSOR - Male, 40-something game show host, comic, high baritone
FX - Male, 20-30, comic, tenor)

Each actor is contracted to perform roles in 5-6 of the season's shows. Packages are subject to change. ALL ROLES ARE OPEN. Weathervane is looking for singers/ comic actors/good movers.
