SEEKING

Equity actors for roles within various Twin Cities area theatres' seasons. Actors will be auditioning for multiple theatres at these auditions.

If any Equity Theatre is participating in fulfilment of part of their Equity Audition requirements, that theatre's breakdown info will be attached to this notice.

Each theater's information may be added to/edited as we get closer to the audition. Please check back for any additions or changes.

Please prepare One 2-minute contemporary monologue comic or serious. No classical monologues please. Please bring 5 copies of your headshot and resume stapled together.

Until, that is, the smallest of the Whos, tiny Cindy Lou, extends a hand. SYNOPSIS: On a crowded subway, Milo passes the time imagining the lives of the other passengers. Ride along with Milo from stop to stop as he begins to understand that first impressions aren’t always accurate, that his bossy older sister ReRe isn’t always an annoying diva, and that real life can sometimes be even more incredible than an imaginary one.

SYNOPSIS: Disney’s Frozen sweeps into Minnesota as Children’s Theatre Company premieres its original production of the hit Broadway musical. Will Elsa be able to restore the balance between summer and winter? Will she and Anna ever be close again? Settle in for some hygge, a little bit of joiking, and a whole lot of letting go!

OUR MISSION: Mixed Blood uses theater to disrupt injustice. We are a social justice organization catalyzing action and change through art. Our work is guided by deep community engagement and rooted in radical hospitality.

Equitable Dinners (authors TBD, Directors TBD, locations TBD, dates TBD)

Equitable Dinners will consist of four new plays that address local, pressing issues (affordable housing, climate resilience, mental health, and racial equity). They will be performed for small audiences in people's houses. Actors with strong facilitation skills are encouraged to audition.

Arnold Beroldy/Paul Reynauld- Arnold is a bluff and rude French wine merchant; Paul, also French, is decent and tortured by his past. 40s/50s.

Georges Conneau/Jack Reynauld - Georges is handsome, charming, but a patsy; Jack is similar but more headstrong and liable to act on impulse. Both French, 20s/30s - 30ish is better
